Number plates, darkened, mis-spaced or just random.  If you have any non conforming plates on your fleet and the TC sees it, expect to get called out. 

The most extreme deviation from the norm I’ve seen looked like this on the M1 in Buckinghamshire on a grey Ford SUV.
